WINGS Announcing Waste-Free Initiative
Chicago, Ill. February 21, 2019 — WINGS Juice holds a focus on maintaining and sustaining a healthy world environment, and is announcing today an initiative to create zero waste within the production of its products, and maintenance of the company.
“Pollution is a major contributor to global warming, as well as endangering living species throughout the environment,” said Ace Sinn, CEO. “We at WINGS are hoping to make minimal contributions to what is already harming our planet, and we are excited to be making this step forward.”
It is in WINGS’ values to create a happy and healthy world, and happy and healthy communities within it. All unused food ingredients will be donated to food shelters throughout the city, and all unused packaging materials will be recycled and redistributed. This will help to avoid putting any additional waste into the environment, and keep it cleaner and healthier.
Additionally, all WINGS packaging will be made from recyclable and/or biodegradable materials, which will naturally break down and cause no harm to the environment, as opposed to regular plastics that build up and remain. With this, WINGS hopes to help consumers eliminate waste from their own homes. Rather than throwing empty bottles into the garbage, where they will only find a place at a landfill, further contributing to an unhealthy atmosphere and the issue of global warming, those who buy WINGS Juice will be able to safely dispose of empty bottles where they will do no harm to the environment, and eliminate waste from the community.
As part of the launch for this initiative, WINGS will be hosting a clean-up event in Chicago. The goal is to clean up waste from around city parks and Lake Michigan's beaches and dispose of littered materials. This event will be open for anyone of the general public to join, and hopefully will conclude with a cleaner city.
